Ministry has picked up speed and will continue to do so moving forward! PPC Cares cannot exist without your willingness and sacrifice of time. I know everyone is busy in the workday, so thank you for taking the time to collectively serve our community. Our community partners and friends see our steadfast dedication, support, and care.
One of the neatest aspects of serving together as a work family is being able to get to know each other outside of PPC. This year we have grown as a company with so many great additions to the PPC Family. Volunteering not only strengthens friendships between old school PPC’ers and new school PPC’ers, but it also bridges relationships between locations.
Looking ahead to next year, we will continue to pursue relationships and partnerships in our local communities. If you have not volunteered, consider doing so. It is a real blessing to have the opportunity, as a small business, to make a healing impact in our community.
Food Drive … AII food will be donated to the Good Samaritan of Garland, AND, the HIPsters are teaming up with us by holding their own food drive. Team PPC will collect foods from MP, our locations, and then deliver to Good Sam on November 18th
We will help setup for My Possibilities Friendsgiving Dinner. More details to come.
We will begin a Toy Drive benefiting Sadie’s Sleigh, a non-profit created by Sadie, a little girl who battled Leukemia for many years. All toys donated will be delivered to children in the hospitals over Christmas fighting cancer.
Richardson and Sunnyvale will sponsor kids from Otto Middle School’s Angel Tree.
Odessa will also participate in local Angel Tree.
Setup for HIPsters’ Winter Wonderland Dance, collect toys from PPC and MP, then deliver to Sadie’s Sleigh drop off location.
Sometimes, we forget about the importance relationships in the busyness of life. With so many amazing outreaches working hard to provide and help those in need, our community of individuals with special needs is often forgotten. Throughout the HIPsters lives they are set apart, not include and highly underestimated. Because of being seen as “different”, people forget to simply see them as people too. This year we have dedicated time, camp shirts, and LOTS of hotdogs!
Bowling with the HIPsters is a favorite for PPC and MP!
PPC Cares sponsored 125 t-shirts for the HIPsters Summer Camp. They looked sharp and were proud of their camp tees.
In the insane heat of this year’s summer, our guys grilled 600 hotdogs. Our lucky inside crew served, in a quality control fashion, hotdogs, chips, drinks, condiments, and a smile. PPC Cares purchased and donated the hotdogs and chips.
Our PPC volunteers were extremely flexible to serve wherever needed during the chaos of North Texas Giving Day…AND this was one of our largest group of volunteers ever! We purchased and donated 720 hotdogs this go around!
Wow, we had a huge group of HIPsters paint pumpkins this year! We sat up shop outside in the beautiful weather and really had a great time of fellowship. PPC Cares purchased pumpkins, paints, and brushes.
“Some great insight about the importance of taking the time to serve, “I have enjoyed spending time with the Hipsters and look forward to learning more about My Possibilities’ role in their lives. It is always heartwarming to think that what you do might make a difference to someone. Volunteering for a couple of hours seems so minimal, but I am hoping that the time that we give will allow the great people at My Possibilities a little extra time or space to accomplish something even bigger.”
Team Odessa is a force for good in the community. They may be small in numbers, but they are mighty in serving the community.
Odessa sponsored Muffins with Moms and Donuts with Dads at an elderly nursing home. Just as the HIPsters are often forgotten and neglected, so are the elderly members in our communities. Our Odessa family continually serves them diligently!

Another outreach for Team Odessa’s elderly community is through their partnership with Meals on Wheels. They deliver between 12-15 meals every other week and use their own cars and gas to do so!
Once a month Odessa volunteers at Jesus House in their “His Kitchen”, a soup kitchen open to all who need assistance with hot meals. On average they serve 80-100 meals.

“Firstly, I’m grateful we get the awesome opportunity to go out and volunteer in our community as it makes me feel we are doing our due diligence as citizens in giving back to our community even as small as doing meals on wheels and being able to provide a hot meal to our elderly citizens.”
“When I volunteer in the community I truly do it from the bottom of my heart and with a big smile. It brings me peace and joy seeing the smile on people’s faces. It opens my eyes to see how blessed and privileged I am to have the things I have today. I am thankful PPC allows me to go out in the community and help those in need.”
